I am in love with my color blocking nail art by Her Nails Rock.
In case you need a nail girl, she’s based out of DC and travels to New York. What I love about Ajahmure was that she actually comes to your house and that’s a big deal when you are pressed for time or don’t like long waits in a nail shop. She worked fast, she was super nice and my nails turned out awesome!
I never remember dreams but the one I had last night left me rattled…
I still felt every single emotion when I woke up
In the dream, I was told that a guy I use to care about wanted to marry me. I was thinking to myself, “I haven’t talked to this guy in 2 years”, but I agreed and before I knew it, he appeared, grabbed my hand and we were walking down the aisle of a huge wedding. Meanwhile I was thinking, ‘Is he really ready to settle down’? But before I knew it, I was standing there alone. He disappeared and I was left there at the altar alone. I was devastated. Next, I was touching my teeth and they began crumbling in my hand. Before I even had a chance to begin dealing with that, I turned around and Read More
Last week, I had the opportunity to travel to CHICAGO!!!! for X Rated Fusion Liqueur’s Holiday Cocktails event in the Lacuna Artist Loft Building . I can not tell you how excited I was about visiting Chicago as I’ve heard so many great things about the city and culture. Just before the event, I stopped by The Tony Riot & The Morning Riot show over at WGCI and afterward, Toccara from Spifster nails came by and she drummed up some Bitchie Nails for me just in time for the event. This past Monday, I visited a transitional Foster Home in Los Angeles and spoke with a few young girls as well as delivered Christmas Gifts. Back in November, when we first reached out to an organization called ‘LIFT Angels program’ to see how we could help with mentoring and giving back to the youth, the program director actually told us he wasn’t interested and hung up. A day or two later after he called back, I met with him and he told me that it was rare to see someone reach out to see how they could help so when we had called up there, he thought we were trying to sell him something. Imagine that. lol Read More
Tears were flowing as I accepted the Soul Train Music Award last month for Best Soul Site. When I got up there, I started thinking about every struggle, every obstacle that I had to face, people who told me ‘no’ or that I couldn’t do it. My parents, my grandmother who always believed in me, everything that I fought so hard for. That moment meant everything to me because I knew that somewhere out there some girl was in the same position I was once in, feeling the same way that I did and she was going to find strength in my story.
For that reason alone, I continue to wake up every day and continue to do what I do in hopes that with all of the entertainment news and juicy tidbits that I may write, that someone will want to know the back story. And they will find it. And read it. And use it for motivation to be, do and become better.
Thank you God for I know that I am blessed and highly favored.
And thank you, my readers for your continuous support and love
Yesterday morning, I stopped by WGCI’s Tony Sculfield and The Morning Riot Show in Chicago for a little morning fun. The show is ran by comedians Tony Sculfield and Leon Rogers as well as Nina Chantele. It was nothing but laughs as they asked me questions about how I began blogging before moving in to topics like which celebrities I’ve had personal run ins with, have I ever blogged something I regretted and which celebs should hang it up and do porn. We also touched on blog beefs.
On Saturday, December 3, I hosted ‘An Evening With X-Rated’ private dinner in Dallas. I was uber excited because it was my first time visiting Texas, and even more excited that I was visiting Dallas being as though I’ve heard so many great things about the city. To my disappointment, however, when I touched down it was pouring raining and it continued throughout the night.
The rain definitely didn’t stop the show. Read More
